WITH Corsham Centre Youth already crowned Division Four champions the race is on for the runners up spot and, after their 5-0 victory over Bremhill View Boys, it is starting to look as if Bath Road FC, who are four points behind second placed Oakhill but have four games in hand on their rivals, will claim it.
Tim Knight headed Bath Road ahead and when Ben Redford was sent off for Bremhill on 20 minutes what was already an uphill task for Chris Edes side became even harder.
Their hopes of getting something from the game were extinguished before half time as Matt White headed Bath Road into a 2-0 lead before Nick Manifold put them 3-0 up at the break.
Bremhill rallied slightly in the second period but being a man down meant they had it all to do and if it wasn’t already game over it soon was when James Hernandez made it 4-0 and when substitute Harry Town netted goal number five, Bremhill were a well beaten side.
