WITH Somerford postponing their fixture at White Horse A, due to a number of the villagers' players oversleeping after failing to alter their clocks, it gave Division One leaders Prestige Bodyworks the chance to open up a 10-point gap over their rivals at the top of the table.

Prestige duly obliged by beating Bromham 5-3 in a match was saw Danny Powell’s side make things hard for the polesitters. Things were neck and neck for a long time before two late goals secured a vital victory for Tyrone Prades side.

Bromham led through a Chris Burgess goal before Matt Hooper claimed his first goal of the season to get Prestige back on level terms. A Danny Fennell own goal saw Prestige go into the break with a slender 2-1 lead.

The second period saw the action go from end to end which in turn produced plenty more goals. Bromham restored parity via Sean Kingsbury only for Adam O’Keeffe to put Prestige ahead only for Ali Bradley to peg them back at 3-3 when fired home for Bromham to keep what was becoming a thrilling contest alive.

Prestige then got their noses in front courtesy of a second from O’Keeffe and they finally killed off their guests at Stanley Park when Alex Pring scored their fifth of the morning.
