BRADFORD Town maintained their eleven-point lead at the top of the Toolstation League First Division after they drew with their nearest challengers Shepton Mallet last weekend.
Shaun Percival found the net to give Paul Shanley’s Bradford the lead at Trowbridge Road but a second half penalty from the visitors’ Lee Davidson ensured that the clash finished 1-1.
Elsewhere in the Toolstation League First Division, Corsham Town’s unbeaten run was stretched to eleven games after Trevor Rawlings’ side drew 1-1 with Cheddar.
Nick Holton’s header put Corsham in front but the visitors’ Sam Jones netted an equaliser to ensure that the spoils were shared.
In the Premier Division, Melksham Town saw their six-match unbeaten run brought to an end as they were beaten at home by Bridport.
Gary Higdon was on target for the hosts but they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.
