ZEALS FC and Marshfield FC, who were both new to the league at the start of the season, were involved in what was the only Division Three fixture on Saturday afternoon.
The newcomers as they fought out a nine-goal classic in which Marshfield, the former Wiltshire League side, overcame a 4-3 deficit at the break to claim a stunning 5-4 success in match that was a credit to both of the village sides.
In what was an entertaining first 45 minutes, two goals from Jose Gualda and one each for Scott Talbot and James Weeks gave Zeals their slender advantage, Andy Jefferies with two and Russell Lodge keeping Marshfield in the game.
After the break goals from Dave Williams on the 60-minute mark and Russell Lodge who claimed his second of the afternoon in the 69th minute won it for Marshfield.
MATCH OFF: Holt v White Horse.
