BOTH Trowbridge Town Reserves and opponents Westbury Town brought the curtain down on their Division Two league campaigns when they met at The Beeches, Shaw.
As expected, it was Trowbridge who took the spoils thanks to a 6-1 victory.
However, Dave Jenkins side who are currently in second place face an anxious wait to see if they will finish as runners up to Lacock as Westwood News are six points behind the Bees and have two matches still to play.
Westbury, who suffered a 19-0 defeat last weekend, gave a good account of themselves over the 90 minutes but were unable to upset the odds as goals from Zach Manna and Barry Holloway put Trowbridge 2-0 up before Jordan Cain replied for Westbury with a 30-yard effort.
The second period saw Westbury run out of steam and although Mark Gee rattled the crossbar from a well-struck free kick that was the closest they came to adding a second as goals from Dan Barnett who bagged himself a double.
Sean Meer and a second from Holloway made up the Bees' half dozen.
MATCH OFF: Bratton v Lacock FC
