FROME Town's four-match unbeaten run was brought to an end last night as the Robins were beaten at play-off chasers Poole Town.
The hosts' Jamie Whisken and Ekow Elliott netted in quick succession midway through the first half to put Poole in control before Frome defender Jack Vallis headed home shortly before the break to reduce the deficit.
After Elliott was penalised for handball, Kris Miller fired home the equaliser from the penalty spot but Steve Devlin restored the home side's lead with a stunning long-range strike before Elliott made up for conceding a spot-kick by winning one up the other end, with Devlin converting to make it 4-2.
Adrian Foster's men ended the evening with ten men after Ricky Hulbert was shown a straight red card for an off-the-ball incident.
The Robins travel to bottom-of-the-table Bedford Town next weekend.
