A SCOTT Boyd-inspired display helped Miller Sports A to 4-0 victory at the Beeches which saw them replace opponents Southwick Wanderers at the top of Division two and in the driving seat for a place in division one next season.

Boyd provided the cross for Nathan Drew who gave Miller half-time lead. Boyd then took the corner that led to Dave Jenkins doubling Miller’s advantage with a simple tap in.

Boyd then went from provider to scorer with the final two goals, his first coming after being set up by Drew and his second owed much to the efforts of Dan Waylan who after beating the last defended picked out Boyd who rolled the ball into the empty to seal victory for Mike Stevens' side.
