THE MATCH of the day this Sunday has to be the Division Two clash at the Beeches, Shaw, where leaders Southwick Wanderers take on second-placed hosts Miller Sports A.
A win for Matt Rusling’s visitors would almost certainly end Miller’s hopes of claiming a top-two finish and put his Wanderers side in a guaranteed promotion spot, whilst a win for Miller would put them in the driving seat.
With everything to play for, this game should be a classic and like the first meeting of the sides that finished three apiece, it could well finish with the points being shared.
Basement side AFC Avellinos will look to end an eight-match winless run when they take on Potterne CFC at Stanley Park.
Should things go to form, it will be the visitors to Chippenhamwho pick up the spoils with what should be another comfortable win.
However Potterne themselves have been struggling for a team recently, so this may not be the one-sided contest that has been predicted.
FC Buscots made a welcomed return to league action last Sunday, and Mark Camacho’s men will look to build on their 4-1 victory over Sutton Benger when they host Talbot FC at Nursteed Road.
