They lost influential hooker Julian Tucker shortly before kick-off, but teenager Jamie Astin stepped in and performed well.
Centre Nick Abbott opened the scoring by going under the posts, with Dan Bright adding the extras and Bright also added a penalty before converting the second try by centre Cam Dewar.
Swindon hit back with a converted score but in the second half, Matt Edwards broke from a ruck and touched down, against converted by Bright.
Swindon added a second converted score, but Bright booted a penalty and then converted as Abbott scored his second try.
