WARMINSTER turned the formbook on its head as they ended their five-match losing streak.
With a dominant scrummage, Warminster were in control early on but missed the chance to go ahead when number Dean Priestman broke off a set piece but threw a poor pass.
However, Priestman soon set up the first try, his pass finding hooker Dan Woods for his second try in as many weeks, Jason Sprangle adding the conversion.
Three Sprangle penalties extended the advantage as Frome’s infringements resulted in them losing a man to the sin-bin.
The home side spent much of the secnd half close to the Frome 22, but came up against a strong defence before the pressure told and second row Dave Bowman ploughed over.
Frome were reduced to 14 men permanently as Warminster fly-half was taken out with a shoulder charge before home flanker James Rowbotham was sin-binned.
The victory was sealed as Sprangle’s clever cross-kick allowed Pratt to dot down, Sprangle booting the conversion.
