LONDON 2012 Olympian Francesca Fox has joined West Wilts Esprit Gym-nastics Club’s coaching team.
Fox, who was part of Great Britain’s rhythmic gymnastics team at last year’s Games, will be the club’s choreography and flexibility coach, as well as helping the club launch rhythmic gymnastics classes.
The 21 year old, who also helped England win team bronze at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, joins a coaching team which includes her very first gymnastics coach, Yvonne Brice, who started the West Wilts club 40 years ago.
Brice said: “I have followed Frankie’s career over the years, and I was so proud to watch her compete in the London Olympics last year. It’s wonderful that she’s come back to join us as a coach.’’
West Wilts’ West Country League Division 3 C team, entered for the first time, won all three of their matches to seal the title.
Rhythmic gymnastics classes with Fox start on Saturday, December 21 and the lub is also starting a Boys’ Only class on December 14. Call 07720 263965 or email wwespritgc @yahoo.co.uk for details and to book.
