RICKY Hulbert has returned to Frome Town as boss Brian O’Donnell continues his revamp of the Aldersmith Stadium squad.
Hulbert is back for his fourth spell with the Robins after rejoining from Yate Town. He also featured for Frome last season, having left to join Canterbury United in New Zealand in March of last year.
Hulbert, who has made more than 100 Frome appearances, said: “I’ve always enjoyed my time at Frome and didn’t really want to leave in the first place in the summer but for one reason or another I moved to Yate.
“As soon as Brian (O’Donnell) got in contact I jumped at the chance to come back, I know everybody at the club so there will be no problems with fitting straight back in”.
Frome slipped to a narrow defeat in their Calor League Southern Premier Division clash at Redditch United last night.
New signing Tim Stephenson was delayed on the motorway so Bryan Smith played in the heart of the defence with Will Agbo played up front.
Matt Clark, signed last week from Hungerford Town, made his debut but was forced off through illness before the break.
Joseph Ballinger scored the only goal for the home side on 23 minutes.
