WILTSHIRE swimmers excelled for Bath’s Aquae Sulis Performance Swimming Club (ASPSC) at the Level 1 Grand Prix Open Meet hosted by the club at Hengrove Leisure Park.
The hugely successful two day event attracted entries from 425 swimmers from 45 clubs, Trowbridge’s Ella Veakins winning three gold medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and 400m individual medley.
Trowbridge’s Daniella Whiting won two golds in the 200m freestyle and 400m individual medley and added a silver and two bronzes.
Bradford on Avon’s Jessie Foster won gold, silver and bronze), Bradford’s Georgia Keen a gold and bronze, while Stella Cookson, Rebecca Hawkins (both Bradford) and Trowbridge’s Frederick Webb returned home with medals.
