AFTER suffering their first defeat of the season at defending S.K. Fruits Limited Chippenham Sunday League, Premier Division champions Biddestone Social last weekend, Shaun Gardiner will be hoping that his Westbury Rangers side can make an immediate return to winning ways when they travel to unbeaten Castle FC.

Tom Perkins Castle are the surprise package this term and will be out to preserve their 100 per cent start that has seen them win five on the spin.

AFC Melksham, who have yet to win a game this term, will again be without manager Mike Rogers who is recovering after a recent operation.

In his absence Taff Evans hasn’t had a lot to do as the team haven’t played for over a month.

A return to action at the weekend will almost certainly end in another loss as Biddestone Social are next up and should have few problems in chalking up three more points in their bid for a fourth straight title.

Bradford Renegades, who are slowly getting back to somewhere near their best, entertain bottom of the table Semington Rovers who, having already suffered a 5-1 loss at the hands of Lance Davis' side, are unlikely to get any joy second time around.

Both Steeple Ashton Rangers and FC Colerne haven’t had the best of starts, with both teams having to postpone more games than they have actually played due to a shortage of players.

With Ashton looking to record their first points of the campaign they will be hopeful that they can raise a team for the visit of the fellow villagers to their St Mary’s.
