BRADFORD Town are 14 points clear at the top of the Toolstation League First Division after a complete demolition of rock-bottom Portishead Town last night.

Paul Shanley's men took their goals tally to a staggering 71 in 17 matches as they filled their boots against the manager-less visitors.

Portishead lost manager Lee Ballard who resigned prior to the match and, led by reserve team manager James Hailwood, were shown no mercy by the leaders.

Sam Jordan added another three to edge nearer the 50-goal mark for the club already this season, but even he had to share the scoring around as no less than five teammates got in on the act.

Dan King also netted a treble, with Beau Blakeman, Tom Evans, Nick Ridout, Liam Milburn and Steve Hulbert also on target. Keiran Marsden mustered the solitary reply.

Chippenham Park bounced back twice to earn a 2-2 draw at Keynsham Town.

The visitors fell behind but levelled shortly before half time as Mark Robinson scored at the back post.

Keynsham again grabbed the lead after the break, but substitute Mark Noland's long-range effort restored parity.
