WESTBURY youngster Ria Oliver will represent Great Britain in Bulgaria this weekend at the FIG (International Gymnastics Federation) World age group championships.
The 12-year-old, who competes for Team Bath Evolution trampoline club, is one of only four junior British athletes selected to compete in the double mini-trampoline event – a cross between gymnastics and trampolining.
Oliver won her place in Sofia after trialling at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre and the youngster, who has won six national medals and a silver at the British Championships in July, will be making her international bow.
Coach Sarah Hunt said: “She is an incredibly talented athlete and works hard to ensure that she reaps the rewards.
“We are very proud of her achievement and look forward to cheering her on.”
