A WEEK on from their 4-1 reverse away at Somerford, Aaron Latchem’s Staverton will be desperate to avenge that loss and get back into the Division One title race.
A first win in four attempts saw Somerford end the hoodoo that their hosts seemed to have over them and having ended Staverton’s unbeaten start to the season, Spike Chandler's side will be hoping that his team can claim a quick-fire double.
Table-topping Bromham (Sunday) would have been very happy with their win over Kings Arms (All Cannngs) last weekend but they know that if they have to follow it with a victory over a struggling Chippenham West End side if the are to keep their hopes of a top-two finish alive.
West End lost out in a nine-goal thriller when the sides met in September and although they have yet to win a game they, shouldn’t be written off as they could upset the odds.
Goatacre CC FC kick off a run of four home games by hosting Kings Arms (All Cannings), who after opening with a victory over Corsham Wildcats, have managed just one win from their last five outings.
Goatacre, who won both meetings of the teams last term on their way to winning the second division title, should have few problems in completing a hat-trick of wins over Jim Wilson’s side.
North Star A, who are currently just outside of the drop zone, have not won since they beat Bromham on the second weekend of the season so it seems unlikely that Liam Westland’s side will end their six-match winless run when they host in-form Prestige Bodyworks.
