BOTH Bath Road FC and Bremhill View Boys missed out on a fixture last weekend so when the two sides go head-to-head at Vallens Terrace in Box, they will be looking to close the gap on Division Four leaders Corsham Centre Youth.
This is a must-win game for the hosts if they are to stay in the fight for an automatic promotion spot but a win for Bremhill would see them open up a seven-point gap over their opponents, which even at this early stage of proceedings, would take some clawing back.
Local rivals Cross Keys Rowde and Cavalier are set to meet at Sands Lane and although the former haven’t kicked a ball for a month, they will fancy their chances of picking up three points from Cavalier, who have shipped 29 goals in their last two games.
Melksham Forest Community Centre are unbeaten in their last three games and if they want to continue to pile pressure on the top three sides, they must claim a victory over Oakhill FC when the teams meet at Awdry Avenue this coming Sunday.
That will be easier said than done as the visitors to Melksham will be buoyed by their draw with Miller Sports B, who will have the welcome mat out at the Beeches for basement side White Horse (Sunday) B.
Although the teams are only separated by three point,s the formbook suggests that it will be the hosts who will be the happier of the two sides come the final whistle.
