THE FIRST heavy rain of the Autumn brought with it the first serious disruption to the fixture programme of the Chippenham & Districrt Sunday League, with the biggest casualty being the Premier Division, where all scheduled three matches were lost.
The matches at Meadow Lane, Westbury, and St Mary’s, Steeple Ashton, were lost to the weather while Semington Rovers were forced to call of their match with FC Colerne due to holidays and work commitments.
