WITH the S.K. Fruits Ltd Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division down to eight teams following the recent withdrawal of Bug & Spider, there are just two matches in the top flight this weekend.
The one that catches the eye is at Meadow Lane where leaders Westbury Rangers host third-placed Bradford Renegades who, after sluggish start, are up and running.
After beating AFC Melksham in their opening game Renegades lost three on the spin which included a 4-3 loss against Rangers so Lance Davis will be hoping that his team can avenge that loss.
The only other game in the division sees bottom-of-the-table Steeple Ashton Rangers welcome AFC Melksham to St Mary’s.
Ashton have been struggling to raise a side this season, while their opponents have failed to reach the highs of last term that saw them reach the county cup semi finals.
