WITH Corsham Centre Youth seemingly winning the race to become Division Four champions the race for the runners spot looks to be going the way of Chris Edes' Bremhill View Boys who after their 4-0 victory over near-neighbours Mallard FC coupled with a draw for Bath Road FC have reclaimed second place.

Stuart Windsor scored another two goals to take his tally for the season to 12, Ben Redford and one from the in-form Billy Gleed made up Bremhill’s quartet.

Melksham Forest Community Centre 1 Bath Road FC 1

MELKSHAM Forest Community Centre may not have got the victory they were after at home to Bath Road FC but the home team will be satisfied with a point from what was a hard earned 1-1 draw as took their unbeaten run to three matches.

Dan Goldsworthy's goal for the Forest separated the teams and half and it took a Chris Casey header from a well-placed free kick to earn Bath Road their share of spoils.

Cavalier FC 0 Corsham Centre Youth 20

SEVENTEEN-year-old Alex Hillier was one of the star’s of the show for table-topping Corsham Centre Youth, who were impressed with the never-say-die attitude of opponents Cavalier FC who, after ending their 26 match winless run last weekend came back down to earth with a massive bump.

Pete Ralph's visitors to the Northbrook ran in 20 unanswered goals on their way to a seventh straight win.

Youngster Hillier topped the scorers with a five-goal haul. Ben Thomson, Adam Shipman and Darrin Moss scored hat-tricks, Liam Ralph, Adrian Webb and another one of the Centre’s young fledglings Max Shakleford, who is just 16 and who came off the bench, all scored two each to make up the 20.

White Horse (Sunday) FC B 1 Oakhill FC 7

WHITE Horse (Sunday) B suffered a 7-1 home loss to Oakhill FC with the latter’s victory coming after an excellent second-half performance where they netted six unanswered goals after a first half that saw the hosts match their guests blow for blow.

Clint Couzens, who scored a three timer for Oakhill, gave them a first-half lead which was cancelled out by Chris Peters, who scored his first goal for White Horse after being set up thanks a to a pinpoint pass from Chris Webber.

After the break Oakhill took their chance while the host were denied by the woodwork on no less than four occasions and thanks to two goals each from Jordan Tarrant and Ricky Treweke and another two from Couzens that saw him complete his hat-trick, the scoreline looked a lot more convincing that the match really was.
