BATH made it two wins from two in the Amlin Challenge Cup as tries from Rich Lane and Mat Gilbert secured victory over the Dragons at the Rec this afternoon.
Replacement Gilbert's try in the final 10 minutes sealed the triumph for the home side, who were locked at 10-10 with the Welsh side at the interval.
Lane touched down in the opening stages before Wales and British Lions back row Toby Faletau responded for the away side, Tom Heathcote and Jason Tovey booting the respective conversions before adding penalties before half time.
Heathcote added three further penalties in the second half and the third of them with 15 minutes remaining proved a turning point as Dragons lost back row Lewis Evans to a yellow card.
Bath took full advantage as Gilbert finished off a powerful driving maul and Heathcote converted to wrap up the win.
