PLAISTER AUTOS WILTS LEAGUE
BROMHAM made a disappointing exit from the Corsham Print Senior Cup when they were beaten 3-2 at home by Malmesbury Vics.
Malmesbury took an early lead through Ed Wilkins, but Bromham were 2-1 ahead at the break, thanks to two goals from Lee Campbell Within the first 20 minutes of the second half Bromham conceded two further goals, again after poor defensive play and giving the ball away cheaply, both scored by Wilkins to complete his hat-trick.
In the Premier Division leaders Corsham Town Reserves stretched their lead to seven points with a 4-0 away win over Bradford Town Reserves. Liam Ralph (2) and Carl Bush (2) scored the goals.
Calne Town Reserves recovered from conceding a goal inside the first two minutes to beat visitors Wroughton 3-1.
Wroughton were quickly into their stride, going a goal up in two minutes with a strike from Rob Murphy. Barry Dickens levelled the scores ten minutes later and Darren Legg sent his side in with an interval lead.
Ten minutes into the second half Calne made sure of victory with a good strike from John O'Meara.
In Division One Will Wood and Andy Mitchell gave Minety a 2-0 lead at the break against Blunsdon, the visitors pulling back a late goal.
In Division Two Stratton Rovers Reserves won 2-0 at FC Chippenham, with goals from David Marrech and Ashley Gooch. Wroughton Reserves are the new leaders after a 3-0 win over Blunsdon Reserves.
