FROME Town Ladies' upturn in fortunes continued with a 3-2 home win over Forest Green Rovers, but they made life difficult for themselves letting the visitors back into the game after going 3-0 up.
Leanne Lapham missed three chances within the opening 15 minutes before Kirsty Whitton combined with the ladies' top scorer to open the scoring with a composed finish.
The combination linked up again after 28 minutes and this time Lapham rounded the goalkeeper to roll the ball into the empty net.
In the previous game against Poole Town Whitton had scored a brace and she completed the same achievement in this game with 25 minutes to go as she headed home a Lapham corner.
The game should have been safe but Frome then let Rovers back into the game in the remaining 10 minutes as they scored twice to set up a nerve jangling couple of minutes but they managed to hold on for another crucial victory.
