CORSHAM Centre went out of the national Sunday Cup when they were beaten 6-5 by Lodge Cottrell on penalties at Corsham Town's ground.
Lodge looked sharper from the start and took the lead but Corsham's Liam Ralph saw his shot come off a defender and into the net to level the scores.
The Lichfield side dominated the first period but could not add to their score.
In the second half Corsham Centre again went behind, conceding a goal from a dead ball training ground routine, but to their credit their heads did not drop and they hit back again when a Simon Gray shot fell to Ross Lye who hit in the Corsham side's second.
In the last 20 minutes Corsham Centre had a further four gilt-edged chances but failed to convert any of them and the game drifted into extra-time. With no further goals in time added on the penalty shoot-out decided the result.
