A BRIGHTLY coloured kingfisher has arrived in Bradford on Avon to help promote two Cotswold walking trails inspired by the rivers Severn and Thames.
Wait a Minnow is perched outside the town's tourist information centre in Westbury Gardens for two weeks.
Cllr Kate Bessent, of Bradford on Avon Town Council, said: "We hope it brings lots of new visitors to our beautiful town. More little kingfishers will join us in The Shambles this week too.
"We will be getting another visit at the end of August, maybe from a different kingfisher."
The town council agreed in March to approve a visit from one of the statues as part of the Cotswolds Kingfisher Trail.
The trails, organised by Cotswolds National Landscape, run along the western and eastern edges of the Cotswolds AONB.
There are other kingfishers to find, including one at Iford Manor. For more details, go to https://www.kingfishertrail.org
