PEOPLE in Melksham will be given the chance to comment on plans to build a new multi-million pound secondary school in the town.
Three exhibitions are being held, starting later this month, where initial plans for the new school will go on show so local people can give their views about the proposed design.
The school will replace George Ward School and is set to be built on the Woolmore Farm site in Bowerhill.
It is likely to cost around £22m to build and funding will primarily be through a government grant as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme.
The exhibitions will be at:
- George Ward School on November 27 from 3pm-8pm
- Bowerhill Village Hall on November 29 from 3pm-8pm
- Melksham Town Hall on December 4 from 3.30pm-8pm
