A GARAGE owner has decided to name and shame people he catches stealing from the shop.
Ian Robertson, owner of the Trowbridge Lodge Service Station in West Ashton Road, has pinned CCTV images of people caught in the act on the wall for all to see.
He said: "If you have the technology why not use it to show what these people are doing and hopefully it will deter others.
"You work to earn a crust and these people come along and think they can just take whatever they want.
"Then they go to court and get a few hours community service and it doesn't stop them."
Mr Robertson has informed the police of his actions and Inspector Dave Cullop of Trowbridge police said: "It is a private CCTV system so it is not subject to the codes of practice that systems such as the one in the town centre are and he is only displaying his own data."
