MARSHFIELD Juniors are celebrating after claiming their first win of the season in the under 12s Red Division.
From the kick-off the sides tested each other and Marshfield opened the scoring when Fintan Heart took advantage of poor defending to slot the ball home.
Bromham soon hit back when Josh Thompson broke clear and took his chance well to level the score at 1-1.
Several chances then went begging as both sides created chances and either team could have taken the lead before Ollie Wittcomb created an opening and took his chance well to put Marshfield 2-1 up at half-time.
At the start of the second half Bromham almost got level when Josh Thompson got clear only to see his shot go just past the Marshfield post.
Despite Bromham having the early attacks in this half it was Marshfield who once again took advantage of poor defending as Jimmy Neal got himself on the score sheet to make the score 3-1.
Marshfield made the game safe as Fintan Heart created space for himself and made no mistake to score his second goal of the game and make the final score 4-1.
