WHITE Horse Juniors ran out 2-0 winners over Westbury Youth A in a close match in the Under Nines Orange Division.
Both sides played some good football in attack and defence, but White Horse won the match with two first half goals. Ben Sawyer scored the first from open play and the second was a penalty won by Oscar Bruce and converted by Joseph Scott.
Sam Bailey gave a great performance in goal for White Horse.
Under Nines Blue Division
MELKSHAM Town Youth found themselves chasing their game against visitors Trowbridge Wanderers for most of the first half, with Wanderers taking a 1-0 lead.
Melksham were back on track in the second half following an equaliser from Callum Demkiv and important saves from goalkeeper Ben Amore and his defenders. A Warren Rees strike from the halfway line settled the affair, giving Melksham a hard fought 2-1 victory.
Warminster Highbury remain second after running out 3-1 winners at home to Trowbridge Town Youth with goals from Jake Andrews (2) and Thomas Williams.
Under Nines Purple Division
MELKSHAM Town Youth Robins moved six points clear at the top following their 5-1 away win against Devizes Town Youth. Luke Hamblen scored for Devizes.
Under Nines Yellow Division
OLIVER Elmes fired home after a mazy run to put Melksham Park into the lead at Trowbridge Town Youth.
The two defences had the best of the first half, with some excellent tackles by Luke McNally, Tom Keen and Daniel Bence keeping Trowbridge out.
The home team levelled with a well taken goal from Jacob Hearne after the interval and the game looked like it was heading for a well deserved draw but with only a few minutes to play a Sam Lawn pass put Joe McNally through on goal to clinch all three points for the visitors.
Melksham saw solid performances in goal by Tom Mitchell in the first half and Todd Davis in the second and some resolute defending by Trowbridge.
Mark Patterson put Melksham Town Youth Eagles 1-0 ahead in the first half at Mere Town and a second half hat-trick for Dan Walker and a single from Charlie Wells put the game out of the home side's reach.
Under 10s Blue Division
AMESBURY Juniors remain unbeaten and four points clear of the chasing pack after a 5-0 home win over Warminster Highbury.
Amesbury's goals came from Nick Ware, Kyren Lewis and a hat-trick from Luke Greenway.
Joe Blais (2), Liam Naylor and Conner McKay (3) scored for Trowbridge Town Youth in their 6-0 away win over White Horse Dynamos.
Under 10s Green Division
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth White and visitors Westbury Youth played out a very close game, leading to a 2-2 score line at half-time.
The second half remained tight but a goal from Matthew Warren gave the home side their 3-2 victory. Chippenham's other goals came from Joe Deighton and George Cook. Westbury's goals came from Daniel Bodman and an own goal.
Melksham Park ran out 5-1 winners away to Bromham Youth. Superb goalkeeping from Kai Nutland and excellent defending from Ryan Davies and Joshua Bond kept the score respectable against an impressive Melksham side. Kai Nutland scored for Bromham.
Melksham Town Youth failed to find the answers to Chippenham Town Youth Blues attacking football and lost 4-1. Chippenham attacked in numbers and often found themselves with four against two up front. The quality of the Melksham passes was such that the Chippenham defence comfortably dealt with Melksham's counterattacks. Daniel Cleverley scored for Melksham.
Leaders Warminster Highbury gave a solid team performance against visitors Worton and Cheverell and took a 4-1 half-time lead. The second half saw a repeat performance of the first, with Highbury taking the game to the visitors and running out 8-2 winners.
Charlie Walton (2), Kieran Dimambro (4) and Grady Dufosee (2) scored for Highbury, with Joshua Hatcher and Elliot Hopkins replying for Worton.
Worton named goalkeeper Liam Cutler as their man-of-the-match.
Under 10s Red Division
BRADFORD Town Youth took a commanding 4-0 first half lead, but Trowbridge Town Youth kept their heads up to score three second half goals against Bradford's two.
Devizes Town Youth ran out 3-0 winners at home to White Horse Junior Flames with goals from Thomas Edwards, Harry Easton and an own goal.
Melksham Park took an early lead against visitors Trowbridge Wanderers but the visitors were up for the challenge, equalising before going on to lead 2-1 at the break. An end-to-end game saw Park playing catch-up, equalising twice before Wanderers clinched the points in the dying minutes at 4-3.
George Wilson, Sam Padfield, and Ben Cooper (2) scored for Wanderers with Ben Jenkins (2) and Liam Hancock replying for Park.
Under 10s Yellow Division
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth Yellow earned their first three points of the season with a 5-2 win at Mere.
Andrew Sharp (3), Connor Botting and Matthew Carter scored for Chippenham with Reece Newman replying for Mere.
In a midtable clash home side Melksham Town Magpies and Trowbridge Town Youth played out a very close game with the visitors edging a 4-3 win.
Jack Clayton and Luke Thomson (2) scored for the Magpies.
Under 11s Blue Division
IN a top of the table clash Trowbridge Town gave their best performance of the season against previously unbeaten White Horse Junior Jets.
Town attacked from the kick-off and continued throughout the first half.
Town went 1-0 up when a Tom Doveton shot was deflected in off a defender and went on to lead 2-0 at the break with a well taken goal from Oliver Nash.
Town continued to pressure in the second half taking their score to 4-0 with two goals from Elliot Hughes. Late in the game White Horse were awarded a penalty ending the game at 4-1.
Town named Daniel Letchford as their man-of-the-match for a superb effort in central midfield.
Under 11s Green Division
TROWBRIDGE Town Youth hosted Frome Collegians and both sides were understrength as the school half term found many players away on holiday.
Trowbridge made the brighter start and took the lead through a Leon Greenland shot midway through the first half. Frome came out for the second half and pressed for an equaliser, but excellent defensive performances from Wesley McBarnett and Alex Shaw saw Trowbridge through to a 1-0 win.
Under 11s Orange Division
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth White and home side Westbury Youth entertained their supporters with a 13 goal thriller.
Chippenham made the most of their chances in the first half, taking a 3-0 lead at the break. Chippenham extended their lead but Westbury were back in the game at 4-2, with goals from Dylan Tuck and Drew Adams. The end-to -nd encounter continued with Chippenham leading 6-5. Westbury piled on the pressure but two late break-away goals from Chippenham left the final score at 8-5.
Chippenham's goals came from hat-tricks from Ben Pring and Harry Myles and two goals from Ryan Peck. Westbury's other goals came from Charlie Burgess, Callum Elkins and a second from Adams.
Another high scoring game saw visitors Devizes Town Youth romp home 10-2 against Castle Combe Colts. Bradley Hill (4), Tommy Arkle (2), Robbie White, Will Davis, Luke North and Andrew Wilkins scored for Devizes.
Bradford Town Youth took a very early lead in their home game against Melksham Park, who were soon back in the game when Callum Dunbar twice headed home twice from corners before completing his hat-trick. Park increased their lead to 5-1 before the break with goals from Jonathan Mead and William Abrams. Bradford defended well in the second half but a late goal from Lewis Pearce settled the game at 6-1.
Under 11s Red Division
FC CHIPPENHAM move to second after running out 5-2 winners at home against Larkhall Athletic.
Davian Tapper and Bradley Wiltshire scored for Larkhall.
Under 12s Blue Division
AFC CORSHAM, who had lost their last two matches, fought back from a goal down to beat Bradford Town Whites 9-2.
Bradford took the lead after five minutes when a low hard cross from the left by Bradford's Daniel Bright was deflected into the bottom corner of the net by a Corsham defender.
Corsham soon equalised when Josh May curled an inch perfect free kick into the far top corner of the net and then took the lead with a solo goal by Harry Roberts. Further Corsham goals followed from top scorer Josh Hard (3, one penalty), Alex Bray (2), May and Danny Clayton. Brigham scored Bradford's second goal.
Melksham Town Youth Blue remain at the top of the table despite dropping points for the first time this season. Jake Brewer gave Melksham the lead in the first few minutes but Amesbury brought the scores level at the break with a great strike from Cameron Wishart. Early in the second half Harry Beckley broke through to give Amesbury the lead and the winning goal. Both sides defended well and gave great team performances. The win moves Amesbury up into second in the table on goal difference.
Under 12s Red Division
LEADERS AFC Calne looked sharp and were eager to impress a well organised Trowbridge Town Cougars.
A well contested first half saw Calne go 2-0 up through up Warner and Eddolls. Calne failed to convert any of their chances in the second half mainly due to a fantastic goalkeeping display by Daniel Cleverly in the Trowbridge goal.
Trowbridge pulled a goal back through Jack Noden and were denied twice by the crossbar. Calne had to show true grit, with man-of-the-match Harry Arthur leading the back line and fending off several attacks Marshfield Juniors enjoyed their first win of the season by running out 4-1 winners against Bromham. Marshfield took the lead but this was soon cancelled out by Joshua Thompson. Marshfield battled on, regaining the lead before the break.
Marshfield denied Bromham any advance in the second half and netted two more to finish 4-1 winners. Fintan Heart (2) Olie Wittcomb and Jimmy Neal scored for Marshfield.
Under 12s Yellow Division
WESTBURY got off to the perfect start at Pewsey Vale with a goal inside the first two minutes and followed up their early superiority by adding a second to take a deserved 2-0 lead.
Pewsey got back into the match with a well worked goal to make the score 2-1 before Westbury regained their two goal advantage just before half-time.
Pewsey started the second half strongly and pulled a goal back putting Westbury under some sustained pressure. Westbury finally got into gear and scored a further five goals, one resulting from a superb passing move involving George Pawling and Anthony Fox down the right wing.
Pewsey added a third goal but Westbury ran out 8-3 winners with both sides giving maximum effort and playing the game in a great spirit. The win maintains Westbury's 100 per cent record in the league.
Westbury's goals came from Kai Bingham (4), Luke Booth (3) and Jack Hayward, with Sam Wheeler, Jamie Collinson and Shane Waters replying for Pewsey.
A hat-trick from Freddy Ayres and singles from Oliver Rush and Liam Hillier gave Dilton Rovers a 5-1 home win against Castle Combe Colts White.
Ryan Mackie put Bradford Town Youth White 1-0 up from the penalty spot in their home game against Mere FC. Mere were soon back level before going on to lead 4-1 at the break. Despite efforts from both sides the second half brought no further goals, leaving the final score at 4-1. Cameron Green, Leon Love (2) and Ryan Anker scored for Mere.
Chippenham Town Rangers were quick off the mark in their away game against Malmesbury Youth but this even game saw Malmesbury cancel out their advantage just before the break.
Malmesbury took the lead after the interval before Rangers brought the scores level for the second time. End-to-end action continued with Malmesbury netting a late winner to finish 3-2 winners. William Wright, Tim Hayden and Jake James scored their goals.
Under 13s Blue Division
TROWBRIDGE Wanderers found themselves back pedalling after just two minutes into their home game against Warminster Highbury with Highbury taking a 2-0 lead.
Wanderers showed tremendous spirit to bring the scores level before taking the lead at 3-2. After the break both sides pushed for the advantage but a late goal from the visitors settled the affair at 5-4. Callum Pocock (2) and Liam Smart (2) scored for Wanderers.
Derry Hill remain third following their 3-1 home win against Devizes Town Youth. Jordan Hicks scored for Devizes.
Under 13s Green Division
TROWBRIDGE Town 2nds started stronger than home side Worton and Cheverell and took a 2-0 lead into the second half, thanks to goals from Scott Ingram and Jack Parker.
Town continued to progress in the second half with a further goal from John Williams before Worton and Cheverill came back into the game with two goals from free kicks and a further strike to make it 3 -3. Trowbridge responded in style with the winning goal from the excellent Scott Ingram. Richard Tandy, Declan Blanford and Ryan Webb scored for Worton.
White Horse took the lead twice in the first half in their game at Chippenham Town Rangers. White Horse were reduced to ten men at the start of the second half, after losing a player through illness. Rangers brought the game level but White Horse took control, scoring five more goals to finish clear winners at 7-2.
Ben Wickens (2), Thomas Sigee (2), Simon Nott, Georgie Dolman and Max Bush scored for White Horse, whose man-of-the-match was Rory Embling for an excellent game in defence.
Under 13s Red Division
CASTLE Combe Colts and Melksham Park showed great fire power up front but weaknesses at the back resulting in a 5-5 final score.
Sam Wazniak, Andy Jobbins, William Barnes, Luke Simpkins and Jack Fraser scored for Combe.
Under 14s Blue Division
TROWBRIDGE Wanderers enjoyed their first win of the season with an emphatic 8-0 win over leaders Devizes Town Youth.
Jon Hogarth (2), Otis Young (2), Sam Worsfold (2) and Adam Mercer (2) scored for Wanderers.
Under 14s Green Division
AN UNDERSTRENGTH Trowbridge Town Youth battled hard for the whole game with only ten players against visitors Chippenham Town Rangers.
Trowbridge took a 2-0 lead in the first half through Ryan Greenland (2), but Rangers scored two goals in five minutes to leave the final score at 2-2.
Westbury Youth kept a clean sheet for the second time this season by running out 4-0 winners at home to Chippenham Town Youth. Mitch Spackman (2) and Daryl Thompson (2) scored for Westbury.
FC Chippenham move into joint second place after running out 4-2 winners away to Melksham Town Youth. Dan Cain and Jon Cox scored for Melksham.
Under 14s Red Division
DEVIZES Town Youth ran out convincing 10-1 winners away to FC Chippenham 2nds, with hat-tricks from Dean Taccuso, Alex Owen, Andrew Fisher and a single from Sam Smith.
Mere Town have lost their last three games on the bounce but came back from a week's break to take a win from their home game against Bradford Town Youth.
Both sides battled well, with Mere having the edge at 4-2. Daniel Wright (3) and Aaron Carter scored for Mere, with Gabriel Nathan and Isaac Philips replying for Bradford.
Under 15s Blue Division
TROWBRIDGE Town Youth dominated the first half of their home game against South Newton and Wishford, taking a 1-0 lead at the break through Jamie Jordan.
The second half was more balanced with South Newton drawing level after a goalmouth scramble before Joe Burrows rifled home from 20 yards to seal a 2-1 victory for Town.
Under 15s Green Division
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth took a 2-1 lead at the break in their home game against Worton and Cheverell and increased their advantage to 4-1 before Worton scored their second goal to finish the game at 4-2.
Rob Felstead and Ryan Kubilius (3) scored for Chippenham with Tom Crabtree and Jake Waters replying for Worton.
Second in the table Melksham Park narrowed the gap on leaders Trowbridge Wanderers 2nds to just one point by running out 9-3 winners away to Devizes Town Youth. Jake Roberts, Jamie Wallen and Keiran Chivers scored for Devizes.
Under 15s Red Division
A TOP of the table clash saw leaders Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds beat AFC Corsham 4-2.
Corsham had the better of the first half taking a 1-0 lead at the break through Sam Vasey. Vasey made it 2-0 before Town were back in the game through Natti Mills. Bradley King-Taylor equalised before two late goals from Lawrence Giles gave Town the 4-2 victory.
Amesbury Juniors ran out 4-1 winners at home to FC Chippenham 2nds with goals from Matthew Redgrave (3) and Mark Elliot.
Under 16s Blue Division
AN ENTERTAINING game at Winsley saw Devizes Town Youth take a two goal half-time lead against Bradford Town Youth.
Bradford turned the game around in the second half scoring four time with none in reply to finish 4-2 winners. Tom Giles, Chris Tonkiss, Will Thomas and Cameron Lange scored for Bradford. At the back Rob Comba and Tim Johns had excellent games for Bradford.
Trowbridge Town Youth remain five points clear at the top of the table following their 5-1 away win over Salisbury City. Tom Bonser, Sam Meredith, Stuart Greener, James Vince and Nick Gittins scored for Trowbridge, with Kristian Reece replying for Salisbury.
Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds earned their second win of the season with a 2-0 success at Chippenham Town Youth. The game was marred early in the first half when Chippenham striker Marco Moreno was taken to Frenchay hospital with an eye injury after colliding with the goalkeeper and a defender.
Under 16s Red Division
PETER Hilliard (2) and Danny Gibson gave Amesbury Juniors a 3-0 lead at the break in their home game against AFC Corsham.
Amesbury increased their lead to 5-0 after two great strikes from James Kenny. Amesbury then took their foot of the pedal allowing Corsham three late goals to end the game at 5-3 to the home side.
Melksham Town Youth ran out 4-0 winners away to Warminster Highbury to maintain their place at the top of the table.
South Newton and Wishford are running a close second in the table after their convincing 11-2 home win against Bradford Town Youth Blue. Eddie Perrett (5), Ricky Harrison (3) and Aaron Blakemore (3) scored for South Newton.
FC Chippenham move up to third table following their 4-1 away win against Castle Combe Colts. Johnny Ingram, Rickey Treweke (2) and Ben Pantry scored for Chippenham, with Tom O'Cain replying for Combe.
Under 17s Division
CASTLE Combe Colts Black enjoyed their second win of the season with a 5-1 home win over Marlborough Town.
Combe took the lead but Marlborough were back level after converting from the penalty spot. Combe regained the lead before the break then went on to finish comfortable winners. Michael Finch, Jake Keefe, Sam Tinson and Jordan Coulter (2) scored for Combe.
