DARREN Perrin has accused his players of complacency ahead of the visit of high-flying Mangotsfield United.

The Chippenham boss insists his squad will have no problem getting up for tomorrow's clash at Hardenhuish Park, but has questioned his players' desire against the weaker sides.

It took Chippenham over three hours to overcome Southern League Division One South and West outfit Hillingdon Borough in the FA Trophy, and Perrin believes he has identified the problem.

He said: "For whatever reason we seem to have players who want to play in the big games.

"There seems to be a little bit of complacency when we come up against the teams below us in the league.

"The Mangotsfield game on Saturday is the is the kind of game we need at the moment. It's a local derby against a team who are flying.

"We beat Mangotsfield three times last year so they have a score to settle with us. We know it will be a difficult game."

The Bluebirds are now unbeaten in three matches after the win at Tiverton and the replay victory over Hillingdon, and Perrin is desperate to see that sequence continue.

Mangotsfield boss Lee Howells was spotted in the crowd at Hardenhuish Park on Tuesday night, but left before the flurry of goals in extra-time. Perrin says Howells could be in for a surprise if Mangotsfield turn up expecting to win.

He said: "Their manager will probably be full of beans after watching the 90 minutes. But if our final ball is as good as it was during extra-time we will cause Mangotsfield some problems."

Skipper Ian Herring and goalkeeper Chris Snoddy are both suspended, but first choice shot-stopper Steve Perrin should be fit again.

Striker Alan Griffin is also pushing for a starting place.
