MORE than 150 people learned how to become more climate-friendly in Bradford on Avon on Saturday.
The event included a debate between politicians, a dramatic piece by pupils from St Laurence School, and stalls full of information and was organised by the Climate Friendly Bradford Group, which was officially launched at the event.
Group member Rowena Quantrill said: "It was a very good morning and I think people learned a lot. St Laurence School pupils were very good. They did a lot of research and made it amusing as well as serious. They challenged the politicians and all of us to do something about it."
The group will now hold a planning meeting to discuss some of the ideas suggested at Saturday's event, at the Quaker Meeting House on November 6 from 7-9pm. It is also planning to run a trade fair in the New Year.
