CUSTOMERS at a Melksham pub will be left spellbound at its latest fundraising venture in aid of children's charity Barnardo's.

The Tavern in Market Place is holding a Hallowe'en fancy dress night tomorrow, when customers and staff will be encouraged to enter into the spirit of the occasion and wear colourful creepy costumes. A competition will be held for the best fancy dress outfits with prizes for the best male, female and group, as well as best member of staff.

Raffle tickets are also going to be on sale, with a variety of prizes up for grabs including a cuddly toy in the shape of a Barnardo's bear.

The Tavern has already raised £1,000 for Barnardo's.
