A TRADITIONAL sweet shop will be opened in Warminster tomorrow.
Jason Marsh, 32, who lived in the town for 20 years before moving to Frome, is opening Marshmallow's Sweets n' Treats, in East Street with his wife Sally, also 32.
The shop will serve all the old favourites including barley sugars, bon bons and sugar dust as well as lollipops and locally made chocolate.
Mr Marsh said: "There doesn't seem to be any variety in sweets on the High Street anymore. We're trying to do something a little bit different. "
Mr Marsh, who previously worked as a parcel courier, says he has built up a lot of contacts in the confectionery world so the shop will be able to stock all the familiar sweets.
The shop will open 9.30am-5pm every day and tomorrow will re-open at 7pm to coincide with Warminster Carnival.
