COUNCILLORS have objected to a planning application for a new home in Wiltshire Drive, Trowbridge, after objections from neighbours.
At a meeting of the town council's town development committee on Tuesday, resident Anthony Barber spoke on behalf of himself and neighbours against the application, made by developer DS Windows, which also includes a lay-by extension.
He said: "We believe it would be encroaching into our garden space and it would contribute further to the traffic problems in Wiltshire Drive."
The committee agreed with residents and objected to the application on the grounds of loss of amenity to neighbours and that the property would be overbearing.
