A SUPERMARKET'S solution to its parking problem has been suggested as a way to solve the same issue in Trowbridge town centre.
Tesco in Trowbridge has been using a temporary multi-decked car park while it undergoes major refurbishment.
Now a town councillor has suggested such a car park might be one way around parking problems expected when the proposed town centre redevelopment takes place.
Cllr Angela Milroy said: "I was intrigued to see it. In terms of Transforming Trowbridge it is encouraging to see these tiers are possible. Maybe that is part of the answer."
Developer Thyian Investments Ltd has planning permission to demolish and rebuild the multi-storey car park at Castle Place. It is as yet uncertain how and where temporary parking spaces will be provided in the town while the work is carried out.
