MORE than 50 firms have been nominated as part of the Service Excellence Awards 2007, organised by the Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce.
Firms nominated have a chance to win £1,000 and £500 worth of marketing in the Wiltshire Times.
Nominated firms will be judged by members of the public, who are being asked to fill in Moments of Truth (MOT) cards, which rate the customer service teams on areas like first impressions, the sales pitch and lasting impressions.
Everyone who fills in an MOT card, which are available from businesses in Trowbridge, will be in with a chance of winning a bottle of champagne and an invite to a celebration evening, being held at the Civic Hall in March.
Completed MOT forms can be returned to the chamber's headquarters in Castle Street, the Wiltshire Times' offices in Duke Street, Howard Travel in Church Walk and White Horse Employment, in Fore Street.
The main sponsor of the Service Excellence Awards 2007 is White Horse Employment with Howard Travel; and the Wiltshire Times as additional sponsors.
