NOMINATIONS are flooding in for this year's Service Excellence Awards.

So far 53 firms have been nominated in the competition organised by the Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce and supported by the Wiltshire Times.

Natwest in Fore Street were the first to be nominated in the competition, which is offering six bottles of wine, a magnum of champagne or a litre of whisky to the winning sales teams. The closing date for nominations is October 31.

Shoppers are asked to help pick the top three companies offering service excellence by filling in Moments of Truth (MOT) cards, below.

Each nominated firm is rated on first impressions, how they welcome customers, the service provided, the sales pitch and lasting impressions.

Cut out the MOT card below to become a mystery shopper. All the nominated firms have oval signs on the entrance to their premises.

One lucky mystery shopper will win a bottle of champagne and an invite to the celebration evening at the Civic Hall on March 6 2007.

Completed coupons can be returned to the Wiltshire Times' offices in Duke Street, Trowbridge. Alternatively MOT cards can also be returned to the chamber of commerce's headquarters in Castle Street, White Horse Employment in Fore Street or Howard Travel in Church Walk.
