AS A member of Breakthrough Breast Cancer's Campaigns and Advocacy Network, I'm meeting my MP Andrew Murrison at the charity's annual lobbying event, The Westminster Fly-In on October 24.
I will asking Andrew Murrison to help campaign for improvements to services and ensure access to the best available breast cancer treatments.
So if you, your family or any close friends have been affected by breast cancer, I would like to know about your experiences. Do you think you received good treatment? Did you have to wait longer than you expected for any treatment? What was your experience of breast screening? Is there anything you would like to see done differently in the future?
Improvements in treatment and screening services mean that more people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. However over 41,000 people are still diagnosed each year in the UK so together we need to do everything we can to ensure the best care and treatment is available to everyone.
If you think you can help please call Georgina at Breakthrough Breast Cancer on 020 7025 2485 or you can email advocacy@breakthrough.org.uk as she is collecting peoples' experiences on my behalf.
