A PROSPECTIVE MP for the newly-formed Chippenham seat has been re-appointed to the Regional Development Agency's board for another three years.
Duncan Hames, who serves on Wiltshire County Council and West Wiltshire District Council, has been picked as the Liberal Democrat's candidate for the Chippenham seat, which includes Melksham and Bradford on Avon.
Cllr Hames said: "The Regional Development Agency has made a significant contribution to regeneration in this part of the region, including funding which underpins the Transforming Trowbridge project, and the multi-million pound investment in the ABRO site in Warminster.
North Wilts district councillor Christine Reid is also re-appointed to the agency's board for three years.
