A HEAD-ON car crash at Mile Elm, between Melksham and Calne has left two people in hospital.
The crash happened at just after 7pm on Tuesday on the A3102, when a Honda Accord driven by a 21-year-old man from Calne was in collision with an Audi A4.
The driver of the Honda had to be freed from his car by the fire and rescue service and was taken to Royal United Hospital, Bath, 0 with suspected broken ankles, a knee injury and seatbelt whiplash.
The driver of the Audi, from Poulshot near Devizes, was taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon with back and chest injuries.
Neither drivers' injuries were life threatening.
The road was closed for five hours.
