STAR quality was on display at a school in Semington when staff and pupils transformed themselves into pop singers to raise money for charity.
St George's Primary School was awash with pop stars including Robbie Williams, Britney Spears and Queen on Friday, as part of Ted's Mega Music Day, which funds treatment and equipment at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
Everybody paid a sum of money to come to school dressed as a star, and in the afternoon they held a karaoke concert.
A group of teachers brought the house down when they performed as the Spice Girls and the teaching assistant's rendition of YMCA by the Village People was popular.
Headteacher Ruth Farrell said: "The children worked very hard because during the last fortnight they have been practicing and auditioning for the karaoke.
