YOUNGSTERS left disappointed when their Beaver Group had to stop running are celebrating after it was saved at the eleventh hour.
The Southwick and North Bradley Beavers, the scout movement's group for six to eight-year-olds, had to shut down because there was no-one to run it.
But since their plight was featured in the Wiltshire Times two volunteers have come forward.
Ted Pomeroy from the scout movement said: "It has all worked out well and we will be having a bit of a party for the parents to meet them."
The group will be back on again from November 10 when Karen Lane will take over as leader with support from Sandra McBarnett and existing assistants Carolyn Jones and Amy McClean.
Anyone else who can help would be more than welcome and can contact Mr Pomeroy on (01225) 755541.
