AN advice service tailored to everyone working or living at RAF Lyneham in north Wiltshire will be launched next month.
The North Wiltshire Citizens' Advice Bureau has joined forces with the airbase to offer advice on debt, benefits, housing problems or consumer matters.
The CAB has offices in Chippenham, Corsham, Calne, Wootton Bassett and Malmesbury. The new service will be launched in Lyneham on November 6 and will be held on the first Monday of every month.
Sheila Venn, Bureau manager said: "Our service is holistic so we deal with all the problems people have, not just the issue they came in with.
"People have very busy lives and by being at RAF Lyneham we will be able to help people who cannot get to our other offices."
Station Commander, Group Captain Paul Atherton said: "I am very pleased to welcome the CAB to the station.
"One of my key priorities is the welfare of personnel and their families. Getting advice about a problem early on can really make a difference."
