A CHARITY is calling for volunteers to support its work with disabled people in Kington Langley, near Chippenham.

To coincide with with Make a Difference Day on October 28, Leonard Cheshire's Greathouse wants people who can donate their time as a one off event or give a few hours each week.

Volunteering could include roles such as helping disabled people with activities and crafts, driving a minibus or even organising a fundraising event.

Anybody interested in volunteering can go to Emery Gate, Chippenham from 10am on November 1, where staff from Greathouse will be running a stand.

Make a Difference Day is an annual event organised by Community Service Volunteers, which encourages people of all ages to volunteer for one day to make a difference to their community.
