A THIEF stole a charity box containing £100 destined for the Dorothy House hospice at Winsley.
The box was taken from You Beauty in Fore Street, Trowbridge and staff are determined to raise enough to replace the lost cash.
Owner Amanda Richards said: "We have got CCTV now, which we didn't before. You just don't expect people to do something like that, but I suppose we were too trusting."
The salon had been holding prize draws with a giveaway of £100 of free beauty treatments to raise the money.
The draws are continuing and Ms Richards and her partner Nicky McPherson-Dobson have also invested in a new espresso machine and are asking clients to pay £1 for a cup of coffee towards the hospice.
