STAFF at the Citizens' Advice Bureau in Chippenham will brush with royalty on Wednesday when Princess Anne pays them a visit.

The Princess is arriving to congratulate the centre in Avon Reach, Monkton Hill, for the good work it has been doing for the people in the surrounding area.

For welfare benefits advisor Sue Williams, the visit will be extra special as her 12-year-old daughter Freya has been chosen to present the Princess with a posy.

Mrs Williams, 45, who has worked in the CAB for two years, said: "The reason my daughter was chosen is because she has just started secondary school and is studying citizenship.

"She is learning all about how to play an active and positive part in society and this includes teaching about the royals and the rights people have that are promoted at the CAB.

"Freya is so excited about meeting a real-life royal and will be looking smart in her school uniform.

The Princess will also meet North Wiltshire District Council chairman Peter Davis and CAB managers Sandi Sorell and Sandi Venn.

Mrs Sorell said: "We achieved a terrific audit result and we are delighted Princess Anne is making time to visit us.

"The Bureau in Chippenham received one of the highest results in the country for quality of advice and key achievements."

The CAB helps residents facing eviction, those struggling to pay bills or fighting for benefits to which they are entitled.
