FIRST time parents Charlotte and Rob James were delighted with the arrival of their baby boy.

Liam was born in the birthing pool at Trowbridge Hospital after his mother had been in labour 11 hours, although only two of those were spent at the hospital before he arrived.

Mrs James, 26, who works as a credit controller at Virgin Mobile said: "We had a feeling it would be a boy because my husband thought he could see something at the scan, but the midwife would not confirm either way because she wasn't entirely sure."

Although Mrs James did not suffer any strange cravings during the pregnancy she did develop a very sweet tooth.

Both new mum and her husband, a 27-year-old accountant at apetito, are enjoying their first experience of parenthood and are hoping baby Liam doesn't grow up too fast.
