A WINSLEY couple have raised £1,121 for the Neem Tree Trust by holding a Fairtrade coffee morning at their home.
Mike and Alison Wells have supported the charity, which supports disadvantaged children in India, for the past five years and have raised around £4,000.
At the event held on Thursday, October 27, visitors enjoyed tea, coffee and a selection of homemade cakes, as well as taking part in a tombola, which had prizes donated by about 20 local businesses.
Kathy Miller, of The Neem Tree Trust said: “The Neem Tree Trust would like to thank everyone who helped with the coffee morning, as well as those who came along to support it, making it such a successful event.”
