A fashion show in Warminster has raised £375 for Cancer Research UK.
Last Wednesday evening a team of volunteer models strutted their stuff at Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Market Place.
A temporary catwalk was set up inside the store and the models wore the store’s own lines for the show.
Store manager Maggie Kitley introduced each model in turn while informing the audience about the garments.
Jill McIvor, of Warminster Cancer Research committee, said: “We try to put on a different event each month and indeed we are doing well for this year, but it is very special occasions like this one that gives us a real boost.
“I just wanted to let Maggie and all the girls know just how much we appreciate them giving up their time and to thank them all for all the hard work.”
The evening concluded with a homemade buffet washed down with wine donated by the Wylye Valley Vineyard of Crockerton.
Through ticket sales for the event and the raffle takings the evening raised a total of £375 for the cancer charity.
